It's archived because it doesn't really need any maintenance and the feature is implemented in 2.1, so there is no reason to "improve" it in any way.
This mod adds the category names to the list of boards in the membergroups management pages (Admin > Members > Membergroups > Add Membergroup and Admin > Members > Membergroups > Edit Membergroup and the edit a membergroup).
This mod should simplify the identification and selection of boards visible to a membergroup. By clicking the category name all the boards belonging to the corresponding category will be selected.
