What does it do?
PM Informer displays a warning message at the top of the forum, if a new pm is recieved. It can also show the last new pm recieved.
Admins can change the style of the informer
How to use
To use PM Informer, download the package from the SMF customization site, and install it via your Package Manger.
It should display to all members when they recieve a new PM. You can also change the CSS style* in the ACP.

Admin > Configuration > Modifications (2.0)
