Basically, this adds two tabs to the main menu: "Unread" and "replies".
The tabs are meant to replace the ugly text of "Show unread posts since last visit" and "Show new replies to your posts", which I remove from my themes. It also shows ALL unread messages, regardless of last visit time, unlike the default "unread" action which you get through that text

PLEASE note that different versions are for different things. All versions work on BOTH 2.0 and 1.1!
Generally Function By Version
Version 2.0: Adds the buttons only.
Version 3.0: Adds the buttons and removes the text from the header near the avatar (On CORE it removes all non admin text, on CURVE it removes only the unread and replies text already there).

*Note about 3.0.1: If you use SMF 2.0 RC3 you can take EITHER the CORE or CURVE version of the mod. If you wish for it to be installed on both CORE and CURVE I recommend installing the CORE version and parsing the CURVE version (manually installing), since it has one edit per CURVE based theme and multiple for CORE based themes.

Dropped Core theme's text removal.
