This mod allows you to integrate the GroupDocs' online PDF annotation app into your Simple Machines forum. With this app, you can annotate PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents online, right on your forum web-pages.

How It Works

1. After installing the mod, you will be able to easily embed the GroupDocs' online PDF annotation app into any page on your forum using a simple iFrame. The app comes with a neat interface which includes a set of handy annotation tools.

2. Now, you can upload any PDF or Microsoft Office document directly to the web-page and either annotate it yourself or invite your colleagues or any forum visitors to annotate the document by providing them with a link to the web-page.

3. Annotated documents can be printed out or exported to a PDF file with all the added notes and markups.

Key Features

1. GroupDocs' online PDF annotation tool doesn't rasterize embedded documents, but converts them to HTML+CSS+SVG, which means hosted documents are rendered as real text files, not images. This allows you, for example, to select and copy text to clipboard right from the embedded document. This also allows you to highlight and strikeout text when reviewing the document.

2. The mod doesn't require any additional software, Flash or Adobe plugins installation. Users can annotate documents from any modern web-browser.

3. The app provides users with a set of convenient annotation tools. It allows users to highlight and strikeout text, draw lines and freehand shapes, add comments to images, text blocks or any point in the document - all online, from a web-browser.

4. Thanks to the real-time annotation mode, you can invite several users at a time to annotate the same document simultaneously - a great approach for collaborative document review!
