Description:
Balanced is a color balanced and warm theme that is easy on the eyes. Balanced is good for sites that have members that require a color balanced and appropriate contrast theme for ease of reading. The warning and success responses from member actions are appropriately colored for the theme in the general area and the admin area. The theme uses enhancements and variations of some icons as well as colors as visual cues that will gently draw the eye to areas of importance while at the same time the theme is quite easy on the eyes during extended reading.
The theme does not provide a logo other than the theme logo. You will need to create a logo with the dimensions of 1206px wide by 151px deep. The Forum Title field in Configuration>Server Settings can still be set to have the forum name appear in the linktree area however, the forum name will not appear in the header area of the theme. As mentioned previously, you will need to create a logo for your site.
The theme is built with a top-down path in the index.css file that reflects the top-down display of the home page. With this top-down path and the well documented index.css file, a person can use this theme to understand how a theme is created in SMF.
There are now two theme types, with the difference being the size of the header. The theme file that does not have the lh or LH in the name is the original theme with the smaller header. The theme that is titled Balanced LH has a larger header and has additional space for larger graphics and additional space in the user greeting area for the displaying of the posts to be moderated. The header size for the LH (large header) is 1206px wide and 175px high. Aside from the header size and post to be moderated information, both themes function the same.

20 Feb 2013 .. version 204.0001 for SMF 204, 203 and 202. Numerous changes that include additonal documentation in the index.css file, when the site is in Maintenance Mode a banner is displayed at the top left of the header, adjusted spacing in the upper right header for user greeting information, fixed display list for new member approval, change some verbage for several areas, added color link to the admin page for the update link. Theme tested with SimplePortal 2.3.5 and PortaMX 1.45 and appears to work with both portals.

06 May 2012 .. new upload to correct minor graphical and cosmetic issues, enhance button visibility for certain buttons in the admin section, login, etc. and to correct minor syntax errors. Syntax errors did not produce any abhorrent behaviour but where corrected anyway. Files have been validated.
